Crib Days are Over for Carter Man!!!

Well, we finally did it.... Carter got a big boy bed!! He was so excited when we told him we were buying him a big boy bed. Jono and Carter stayed up late putting up his new bed. Carter has a fun new room. There are still lots of little touches to add to his room here and there. I will post pics when it is all done. Carter loves helping his Daddy with any construction type stuff. He pulled out his little tools and started helping Dad. As we speak carter is sleeping in his bed for the first time. He said he wanted to take a nap. So I laid him down and he went right to sleep in his new cool bed. Hopefully this is the start of something great!! We will see. (:

It is so much fun to put them in big kid beds...that is our biggest step so far! Although putting the crib back together today led to a few tears because that looked like more fun...good luck with the bed!

Holy smokes...Shelly Brown! I didn't know what to think when I saw your comment. I am glad you found me. How do you know Krista? We are good friends, going to be neighbors. How funny.

So your fam & your house are darling...yeah, I read your blog. And it was good to see your parents & fam :) Tell them all hello. Seth & Kristina have a couple kids? And your parents live in Colorado now? Wow, lots of changes. How is Jeff? Tell him hello.

Well, that's a lot of questions for a blog comment...sorry. hope you are well and congrats on the new baby. Carter is DARLING.

I'd love to keep in touch. You can email me if you'd like. (

see ya Shelly!

It's hard for me to get use to the idea that Carter is old enough to be out of the crib. He sure does look like he loves his new bed---almost as much as he loves getting his own tools out to help his Daddy. That melted my heart. So adorable. I love to see my boys working together. Wait---those are the tractor jammies Carter was talking about huh? So cute. I sure have the cutest little Champ in the world. I miss him too much. ILYT
